The Reality Check Experiment is a touring jamband built out of Philadelphia and amplified online. We’ve grown a dedicated following at our DIY venue The Zapp Factory, where we consistently pack out shows and cultivate a tight-knit scene.
Our goal with every new market is to partner with venues to build a similar community in your city. We’re looking for venues who want an ongoing relationship: rooms that we can return to, grow with, and turn into a home base for our fans in your area.
We follow the classic jamband motto: “No two shows are the same.” Each night is a unique performance tailored to the energy of the room, which keeps fans coming back and brings new listeners into the fold.
The Reality Check Experiment is a four-piece jamband from Philadelphia, blending rock, groove, and deep improvisation. Our shows are built on long-form jams, thematic segues, and high-energy crowd interaction that makes every night feel like an event, not just a gig.
We run our own DIY venue, The Zapp Factory, where we host weekly “Zapp Tests”: fully produced live shows with multitrack recording, professional mixing, and multi-cam video. This DIY foundation means we show up to your room with systems, content, and a fanbase already in motion.
Our mission is to build a touring network of venues where we can grow our community city by city — alongside promoters who want a band that brings both live energy and ongoing digital content back to their stage.
